| One of the benefits of meeting Matt at Fort Lewis was the chance to see friends from our Army Comptrollership Program days at Syracuse University in 1990. Jim is the resource manager of the fort, and as we were touring their house, Matt remarked that the small sunroom off of the living room was about the size of his two-person barracks room. :-) Rank has its priviledges, as Matt is learning in the Army. Here, their daughter Dawn stands next to Mary in the front row. Cherie brought her doggie bag from the winery. |

Matt wonders "What's the big deal" while Cherie beams to have found Chateau St. Michelle, one of her favorite wineries. She assures Matt that some day he'll develop a taste for the stuff. Matt's thinking, "ya, sure, you betcha...bring on the Mai Tais."
