Shoebox Photos — 2008 Shots that don't make the album land in the shoebox

With warmer temps arriving, we bought some hanging flower pots to brighten the patio, left. Our neighbor Ryan, right, brightens up the back yard better'n a whole pot of flowers. Wine and Dine A day in wine country ends with a meal where we can share laughter, swap stories, and most importantly, drink more wine. Cherie Jeanne Linda Evie A Saturday afternoon in April. A classic concert with bass and guitar/banjo at the local winery, a variety of wines to sip and hors d'oeuvres to taste, sunlight to lightly toast our skin and warm our hearts. Life is good in wine country.

Cherie made a Thanksgiving dinner in March, cooking a turkey that Anna got at her job over the holidays. It tasted every bit as good as the famed November meal, as Cherie, Dawn, Kinsey, Jeanne, Mike, and Anna will attest to.

St. Pat's Day Warm-Up Matt's friend Pete celebrated his birthday in February at an Irish pub, and it seemed a good way for everyone to get tuned up for the upcoming March holiday. Pete enjoyed the family, friends, and especially the green Irish Trash Cans that got most of his friends, well, trashed. Matt's war buddy, Josh, second from left, even showed up from Washington for the party Matt Musters Out Matt's stint with the Army ended in February, closer to five years than the four-year contract he signed up for. The day after he formally mustered out, he was on a plane to New Zealand. Matt, right, outside the Tucson Airport, toting the few things he took with him for life down under.
