A feast for the ears as well as the eyes is offered on the grounds of the resort. On this morning, I grabbed a cup of coffee and a camera and went for a stroll to listen to the birds, the rushing waterfall, and the rustling stream. |
Everything was coming up roses, er, daiisies, along the resort trails on a beautiful sunny morning. |

The fitness tral that meandered along the golf course. Half way along the course we stopped for iced tea on a patio overlooking bird feeders and watched a panoply of rainbow-feathered creatures flit around the desert oasis. |

The swimming pool by day. We used it at night, after a game of tennis, when no one else was around. Also by the pool was a hot tub, as well as a "cold plunge" fed by unheated water cascading from a small waterfall. A real sensory potpourri for the body. |
